Our CPR training is inclusive of automated external defribrillator training, 1- and 2-person rescuer techniques, team dynamics, the use of bag valve mask devices (ambu bags for manual resuscitation), CPR manikins for the compression of adults, children and infants.  We also incorporate training for choking victims. Our classroom location can accommodate large groups as well.

Where We Train

We train at our office location at 28116 Orchard Lake Rd., Suite 150 in Farmington Hills, MI. In addition we are a mobile service and will travel to your location for groups of 5 people or more. We offer special group rates and discounts. All of our instructors have experience training a diverse audience to include physicians, nurses, physical therapist, EMT’s paramedics, dentists, personal trainers, office staff, teachers, daycare workers, skilled laborers, technology professions, bus drivers, students and anyone. We are the preferred provider for many of the university and healthcare programs in the Detroit Metro Area.

When We Train

We offer training classes at our Farmington Hills, MI location. Training is from Monday through Saturday at our office.

We provide onsite training at your location for groups of 5 people or more that is convenient to your schedule.

Class Info and Pricing

All successful students will receive their American Heart Association card valid for two years via e-card to their designated email address provided at the start of each class. All CPR cards will be provided via e-card once the student attends the CPR course/clinical at our office or designated location

All classes paid online will be assessed a $10 processing fee if cancelled.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers/Renewal 

The BLS Course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Each student will learn 1- and 2-person rescuer techniques for adults, children and infants.

In the instructor-led course, students participate in simulated clinical scenarios via the use of manikins and various clinical tools. Students work with an AHA BLS Instructor to complete BLS skills practice and skills testing. Students also complete a written exam at the completion of each course. This course is for medical employees who require certification for renewal of their license or for employment. Many people such as hospital workers, doctors, nurses, dentists, EMT’s, paramedics and medical/nursing assistants and anyone can take this course.

AHA BLS/Heartsaver Instructor Course

The AHA Instructor Course teaches the methods of providing cardiopulmonary resuscitation instruction for individuals interested in training and educating both the Healthcare worker and the general public. The course includes AHA training, BLS Provider techniques, effective communication, and CPR product instruction. All students must be at least 18 years of age or older. Please see our Instructor page for course requirements.

All pre-requisite requirements must be completed prior to the start of every class.

Course Fee: $550 (includes BLS Instructor Manual and lunch voucher). Final Payment due prior to the start of class.

Course Length: Approx. 8 hours 9am to 5:30pm

Heartsaver First Aid/CPR/AED

This course is designed to meet American Heart Association and OSHA requirements. The class covers first aid basics and CPR and AED skills for adults, children, and infants. The course will teach you to recognize cardiac arrest, get emergency care on the way quickly, and help a person until more advanced care arrives to take over. The course is for the daycare worker, teacher, babysitter, lifeguard or anyone.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements. Teachers, fitness trainers, students, babysitters or anyone.

Heartsaver First Aid

Heartsaver First Aid is a course that teaches students critical skills needed to quickly respond and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services arrive on the scene. The student will learn first aid basics, injury emergencies, medical emergencies and environmental emergencies. This course is geared for those with limited or no medical experience but requires a course completion in first aid to meet employment requirements.

Online Clinical Skills Class

The American Heart Association eLearning courses provide a convenient way to get certified in BLS, CPR and First Aid. These courses includes online learning, questions and an exam. Come to our location for the hands-on skills practice with the certified instructor. You will take the “Skills Test” and we will work around your schedule. Please complete the eLearning course on the AHA website, bring your certification paper to our office for your in-class clinical and get certified.

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

This class is for healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies and for personnel in emergency response.  The course is inclusive of the following:
  • Basic life support skills, including effective chest compressions, use of a bag-mask device, and use of an AED
  • Recognition and early management of respiratory and cardiac arrest
  • Recognition and early management of peri-arrest conditions such as symptomatic bradycardia
  • Airway management
  • Related pharmacology
  • Management of ACS and stroke
  • Effective communication as a member and leader of a resuscitation team
ACLS Attendance Requirements:
  • Must have current AHA BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
  • ACLS Renewal candidates must have a current AHA ACLS Provider Card (bring a copy of the card to the class)
  • MUST Complete PreCourse Test (completed online) PRIOR to the Course with a score NO LOWER THAN 70%. BRING A COPY OF THE AHA BLS CARD AND ACLS PRE-TEST RESULTS TO THE CLASS.

This course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.

Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for schools and students, new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.
